If you are on good terms, significantly more powerful than them, and they are currently under a major threat that they can't defeat then getting the confederation is usually pretty easy. Basically you want to paint yourself as a savior. You need to have like 200+ relations with them. How do you join a faction in Confederation? It can make confederation harder but if they are about to die or you just force them into too many wars with your alliance they'll confederate. With the current battle speeds and morale shocks its not like I'd get long to enjoy decent animations anyway.but still I hope somehow this can get fixed because it would help me overlook a lot of whats wrong with the game (stupid political system, cartoney unit cards, the whole magic navy transports, and lack of campaign seasons).Does defensive alliance affect Confederation? Shogun two individual guys looked way better and had really quite beautiful animations to watch fights when you zoomed in on battles. In general its just some because the richer I am, the more the minimum amount becomes even if the value of what Im seeking doesnt change.Ĥ: Have any of you folks noticed an improvement in the animations yet? They've done a lot of tweaks to stats, spacing, this and that, but the battles still look like a blobby mess and the animations still look either jaggy and terrible or non-existent. I saw somthing in the patch notes about how it will appear in the menu as a counter-offer option.is that the only way it appears? If so thats horrible! But why the will no one agree to even a trade with me on hard difficulty, even if they like me a little bit? I just dont get it, haven't any of these people heard of the liberal free trade regime? Mutual benefit and all that.ģ: And why the hell can't I manually enter in an amount in the payments option box yet? This is some in multiplayer games when I want to borrow money from a friend.
In patch 1.7 this option is nowhere to be found in my new campagn as the Saka. So I will admit I havent done super thorough testing, but a buddy of mine and myself got bored of our Gaul/Iceni campaign around patch 1.3/1.4 and decided to start a new one after 1.7 Now for me I try to be optimistic and there are some things I really like about the game, things that have potential.like all these new diplomacy options, but now I have some questions.ġ: As my thread asks, where did the join confederation option go? I see that "same blood" is still a thing so why can't I ask a faction to join me? Half my territory as Gaul was acquired through strategic manuevering (albeit a bit basic) and carefully timed ass-kicking or just niceness to take over land diplomatically.
